Edit Day # ?

Had a good day in the edit suite today.

Quite a bit of content done today as well as some new ideas coming out of my brain. I have the post-it note/scene cards taped to the wall to figure out the structure of the doc, I'll post of picture of them tomorrow. Thinking back, I didn't use the post-it note storyboard for doing the Comeback Kid doc.. I just wrote it on one piece of paper. Times must have been tough.

When I was editing the "Sabrina's Law" doc it was the post-it notes that made things happen - 70 hours of footage with no script, so you gotta improvise. I edited mini-scenes out of all the footage I had then wrote each scene on a post-it note then stared at the post-it notes for days on end, then finally it all came together.

One final note.. what's the deal with companies being sketchy about getting cheques out? When it comes to doing the work there are no hesitations but then getting paid is like pulling teeth. I can think of a couple companies and individuals that always live up to the late payment plan. No wonder people leave Winnipeg.
