CTA edit day

Here's a photo of my documentary "scene wall". Don't worry if you can't read it, I am quite sure I will rearrange those cards along with add fifteen more in the next couple weeks.


Today was one of those days where I was editing a scene and I finally figured out a structure that works. I had the clips pulled but just couldn't find the right order. Although.. the interview I shot last week made a difference with linking some comments. Having that scene come together built some momentum for the day and I got a few more scenes cut.

Then on the way home, I was walking down Broadway crossing Garry Street and an idea popped into my head on how I am going to start the doc now. I have a title sequence cut but I needed a short opening scene to make the title sequence have more pay off and now I have it. Good day!
