After a while of doing Chyron (live graphics) for news I started playing a game where I would leave all my work until the last few minutes before going live to make things interesting (no one knew I did that, until now). I got offered a full time job there in the post-production suite there, with my second day of training being September 11, 2001. Ever heard of it? Did that job for 11 months then decided to test the freelance waters, which is how I got into editing documentaries.
Here's a picture of me in my edit suite. Linear editing.. with a Chyron, Two D-2 decks, Beta SP and SX decks, Grass Valley switcher and editor, audio mixer - making for a whole lot of buttons and things to know.

In other news, I spent the last couple days working on a shoot for a puppet show. Directed by Andre and shot by Len.. I was doing sound/camera assist/media management.. and I'll be editing it too. Here's a photo from my cell:
