How I Spent My Summer Vacation

The past four weeks have been busy.

Here's a run down of my month:
- delivered 'Call To Arms' rough cut
- edited a 30 minute preview of 'Nosis'
- edited the 'Live From 95' IRCOM music video
- edited episode 4 of Radio Free Krakow
- delivered 'Call To Arms' fine cut
- edited the Domenica video for 'Above Me'
- edited together some preproduction stuff for the 2010 Olympics
- picture locked 'Call To Arms'

..and I went to the US for a week. Now for something completely similar - here are three pictures of the U-505.

36 hour day

I've been doing a ton of stuff lately.. Royal Albert documentary, Nosis documentary, another Radio Free Krakow episode, a music video, plus I am supposed to be starting a couple other documentaries in the next month. I'm probably forgetting something but that's OK because I forget stuff all the time just ask the government.

Last night was the Nosis preview screening at the Park Theatre. A bunch of my shooting from the Amazon is in the preview and I edited it. Check out this screen grab from an 8mm film camera.

The Chicago of the Illinois

Here are a couple photos from my last night here in Chicago.. Milwaukee and Minneapolis tomorrow then back to Winnipeg on Thursday for an edit on Friday.

This picture is from the street in front of my hotel.. Chicago has the best streets.

Here is my final supper in Chicago.. you can't get more "Chicago" than this. Two Chicago dogs in front of the Buckingham Fountain or the more official name 'The fountain that's in the show intro for Married.. With Children'

The people off to the right by the fountain were shooting stand ups for some TV show. I should have asked them if they need a piece of paper to do a white balance.

Very Tre Cool

I got to meet and hang out with the most important rhythm section in rock and roll history (according to me and probably a couple million other people). Last Wednesday night I actually squeezed in a few minute conversation with Mike Dirnt at, of all places, the Albert. Then the next night I got to meet Tre Cool after the show at the MTS Centre. I got to talk to Tre for a few minutes and then Jesse and I got a picture with him.
